Plot:
Two policemen, a former boxer, Lee Blanchard and Bucky Bleichert are to investigate the 'murder of the ambitious Betty Ann Short, known as "The Black Dahlia." While Blanchard is increasingly concerned that the gruesome murder threatens his relationship with Kay, his partner Bleichert feels increasingly drawn to the enigmatic Madeleine Linscott, the daughter of one of the most important men of the city, which turns out to be strangely linked to the victim.
